We moved to our farm here many years ago and raised a family, farmed, and did many improvements to the old homestead. After my husband retired from US Airways, we opened up as Country Road Bed & Breakfast. We've had many wonderful guests and have enjoyed sharing our home with them.

We have downsized some and now offer our 200 year old cabin to our guests. This was a project that started in 1993. My husband was flying his airplane over woods, and saw a falling down cabin. After inquiring if he could purchase it, there remained the job of tearing it down log by log and rebuilding here on our property. This was a major undertaking but certainly a labor of love as well. We decided to attach this log home to the cabin already rebuilt on our property. The cabin is very unique and certainly offers a step back in time when things were simpler.

We love living here and hope you will come and share what we could never just keep for ourselves.
